  • Patent Opportunities

    The development of specific designs has shown SVETech engineers that there are a wide range of opportunities to make unique contributions spark ignition and compression ignition sleeve valve engine designs that exploit state of the art materials, coatings, films, and production techniquies.

  • Patent Disclosure Process

    SVE Technology uses the patent disclosure process to secure innovations for escalation through a patent application. This allows SVE to work on several technical approaches at a time, using the 1 year period between filing a disclosure, describing the innovation, and enlisting the services of a patent attorney for a formal patent application.

  • Innovation Assessment

    Engineering specification, design and test assess the quality of improvements targeted for patent filings. Successful engineering development triggers further documentation of a detailed design disclosuer.

  • SVE Research and Development

    SVE Technology has gathered momentum for product development through work in Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) projects with the the Defense Advanced Research Projects Administration (DARPA) and the United States Air Force (USAF). SVE Tech has won and executed four SBIR programs related to SVE engine and turbocharging that inform out selection of specific innovations for further development.

    SVE Technology is focused on capturing innovations in 3 technical areas:

    • General lubrication, cooling, and weight savings in single and multi-cylinder designs

    • Spark ignition (SI) innovations related to fuel-air and combustion flow dynamics.

    • Compression ignition (CI) innovations such as injector system design, and head cooling.

  • Patent Application

    Investing is formal applications involves cost and risk managed by the SVE Intellectual Property (IP) management process.

    SVE Technology maintains a list of key technologies for development and patent. Discussions about specific concepts will require executing a Non Disclosure Agreement (NDA).
